Carolina has been working closely with JGA Group to deliver the Level 7 Systems Thinking Practitioner Apprenticeship, since April 2024.

Delivering the curriculum based on her own training and experience, learners develop their practitioner skills over 18 months to become proficient in a wide range of Systems Thinking tools and techniques.

As part of the formal Standard, Carolina teaches learners the details of the following four Systems Approaches:

• System Dynamics
• Viable System Model
• Soft Systems Methodology
• Critical Systems Heuristics

Carolina pays specific attention to ‘getting out of our own way’ as part of her teaching ethos – learning to work with our own and others’ mental models, assumptions, opinions and biases.

She especially emphasises a mindset of pragmatism and practicality, with an overall air of kindness towards oneself as learners ‘try out’ and develop their newly hatched skills.
